Red carpet glamour from ARTISTRY™

Teresa Palmer and ARTISTRY made a winning appearance at the opening ceremony of the Busan International Film Festival.

Press packs, flashing lights and a red carpet greeting provide the familiar backdrop to international film festivals and movie premieres. When Teresa Palmer stepped on to the red carpet at the opening ceremony of the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea in October 2014, ARTISTRYTM helped her look a million dollars.

A night to remember

Naturally it’s not just stars who can receive a boost from the treasures of ARTISTRY. Coming up with your own make-up combinations can ensure your own big Valentine night out turns out just as spectacularly.

Teresa’s make-up artist, Rick DiCecca, used ARTISTRY YOUTH XTENDTM Lifting Smoothing Foundation to provide a base for her red-carpet appearance. And when this was combined with the ARTISTRY YOUTH XTEND Serum Concentrate, the added radiance was clear to see. “I worked with foundation into a fluffy powder brush,” reveals Rick, “starting in the centre of the face and applying the foundation in a circular motion over her entire face.”

After this, “I used the same foundation in a darker shade under her cheekbones with a brush, to create a subtle contour, and finally set the look with a light dusting of ARTISTRY EXACT FITTM Powder Foundation in Ochre, blended over the face.”

Strokes of genius, with a daring finish

Teresa also benefitted from ARTISTRY Cheek Color Sunkissed for colour and definition, while ARTISTRY Eye Color in Silk, Drift and Charm were just some of the masterstrokes for her eyes.

“I used the ARTISTRY Automatic EyeLiner Pencil in Ebony very close to the upper lash line, smudging the liner into the lash base with a sponge tip. I followed with ARTISTRY Shimmer Black, lifting it up at the eyes’ outer corners for a winged look, and Bronze along her lower lash line and smudged into the lash base with a sponge tip. For mascara, I used one coat of ARTISTRY SIGNATURE EYES Length & Definition Mascara in Black, and a second coat of ARTISTRY SIGNATURE EYES Volume Mascara in Black to the upper lashes.”

Finally, the artists applied ARTISTRY SIGNATURE COLORTM Daring Red Lipstick to Teresa’s lips to achieve the perfect glamorous finish.

You might not experience the flashing lights from photographers’ lenses on your big Valentine outing, but by choosing the best ARTISTRY combination for you, you will certainly grab plenty of attention.
