Turn back the clock
Michelle D’Allaird outlines the steps to slow down ageing skin.
It’s important to remember that ARTISTRY INTENSIVE SKINCARE™ products are formulated to deliver dramatic results. Because of their powerful benefits, these special treatments should not be used at the same time and should be used conservatively. Below is my favourite way to fit them into my daily lineup. Every morning and evening regimen consists of the basic ARTISTRY YOUTH XTENDTM regimen. This regime is necessary to provide the skin with optimal anti-ageing benefits, and is critical to achieve the maximum benefits from the intensive treatments.
Of course, what you put in your body is equally, if not more important than what you put on your face. Did you know a diet high in sugar can cause your skin cells to age faster? After establishing your skincare routine with my recommended steps, be sure to read my past column about how sugar consumption and other lifestyle factors can cause wrinkles.
1. ARTISTRY YOUTH XTEND Rich Cleansing Foam
2. ARTISTRY YOUTH XTEND Softening Lotion-Toner
3. ARTISTRY YOUTH XTEND Serum Concentrate
4. ARTISTRY YOUTH XTEND Nourishing Eye Cream
5. ARTISTRY YOUTH XTEND Protecting Cream/Lotion (for day) OR ARTISTRY YOUTH XTEND Enriching Cream/Lotion (for evening)
Follow these skincare steps every day, morning and evening. Now here’s the fun part: powerful treatments sprinkled throughout your week to give your skin extra attention:
ARTISTRY INTENSIVE SKINCARE Anti-Wrinkle Firming Serum
Instructions: Three times a week, after the morning Infuse step, apply this beneath the eyes and to the crow’s feet at the corners of the eye. Three times a week, on the days you didn’t apply it in the morning, apply this in the evening instead. If your skin becomes overly sensitive, decrease the use of the Anti-Wrinkle Firming Serum to just the evening.
ARTISTRY INTENSIVE SKINCARE Renewing Peel
Instructions: Three times a week, after your evening cleanser, apply the peel and remove before applying the toner.
