Create an Omega-3-packed meal using the iCook 25 cm pan.

When we eat out, we may be happy about not having to wash the dishes afterwards. However, we don’t have control over which ingredients are included in our meals, how they’ve been sourced, stored, prepared or how many nutrients they contain.

It’s therefore much better for our conscience and wellbeing, not to mention our budgets, if we prepare most meals at home.

Omega-3 can be found in salmon, sardines and other oily fish, as well as nuts and seeds. It helps to reduce inflammation in the body and support the normal function of the heart.

Up your omega-3 with this mouth-watering salmon recipe (makes 1 portion)

  1. 15 ml olive oil

  2. 150 g wild salmon fillet, skin on, thinly sliced

  3. Lemon for juice, plus wedges to garnish

  4. Small handful of broccoli florets

  5. Salt and ground pepper to season

  1. Add oil in the iCook 25 cm pan. Add the salmon skin-side down, season with salt and pepper and squeeze over lemon juice. Fry for 2-3 minutes, then turn the salmon over and fry for a few minutes, until cooked through. Squeeze over more lemon juice. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  2. Place the broccoli into a pan of boiling salted water and boil for 3-4 minutes.

  3. To serve, pile the drained broccoli onto a serving plate and top with the pan-fried salmon. Garnish with lemon wedges.
