David provides some helpful hints on how to sell this brand and use it to bring prospects into the business.

Sustainable energy boost

When energy drinks first came on the market, they were extremely popular. However, the large amount of sugar in many of them gave consumers a ‘high’ followed by a slump in their energy levels. David used this knowledge to create a beverage which provides a more sustainable energy kick. He says, “This led us to create a no-sugar drink. And we added a potent level of B-vitamins, which contribute to a normal energy-yielding metabolism and help to reduce tiredness.”

This is a great Unique Selling Point (USP) to tell your customers!

A perfect opportunity

The XS brand image is fun, exciting, daring and wild! Amway arranges lively launch events, matching the feel of the product and the energetic effect it has on consumers. The ideal customer – or prospect – should have a young and lively spirit, then they're perfect candidates for the brand! David says, “We try to create great experiences that blow people’s minds – so they are open to hear the rest of the story. XS is a great bridge between ABO and prospect. We say, bring people to these events who are looking for an opportunity.” The events include action sports events, fun competitions and dance parties in cocktails bars – and naturally, XS Power Drink is available at all events!

So, go along to the next event and get talking to potential prospects!

Looking the part

David told us about the importance of XS-branded merchandising materials. He explains, “There are XS vehicles, XS hats, an XS cooler etc. If you’re selling the drink, stand behind the brand. Make sure you’re wearing the t-shirt! It gives a more professional image.”
