Ingredients:
3 bananas
1 thick lemon slice
1 pear (of solid variety)
2 tbsp butter
3 tbsp sugar
small piece of ginger (optional)

4-5 tbsp flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 pinch of salt

Preparation method:
Slice bananas crosswise, drizzle with lemon juice (to prevent darkening) and mix. Remove core and seeds from the pear, slice lengthwise. It is not necessary to peel the pear.
Pre-heat the frying pan with water on the bottom, add sugar, pear slices and finely sliced ginger. Simmer for 3-5 min. You can cover the frying pan with the lid.
Butter the bottom and sides of the steamer, transfer all ingredients from the frying pan into it, arrange banana slices on top.
Fill 2/3 of 4 litre stock pot with water, switch on the heat and place the steamer with fruits on top.
Whisk eggs with sugar and a pinch of salt. Add sour cream and flour with baking powder. The dough should have the consistence of pancake batter. Pour dough over the fruits. 6. Rapidly bring the fruit pudding to the boil, then lower the heat to minimum. Cover with the lid leaving a small crack to let the steam out. Cook fruit pie for 50-60 min.
